Reduce Pain, Stress & Improve Sleeping with our Bowen & FLOWPresso

The beauty about Bowen is that it can be used on anyone. It’s a gentle technique that is effective for treating everything from stress and difficulty sleeping to acute or chronic pain and stiff joints. 

The FLOWPresso suit is suitable for children and adults and is a wonderful treatment for anxiety and stress, sleep management, sports recovery and endurance plus a host of other concerns.

Or if you’re looking for a little TLC, both therapies are fantastic for general maintenance.

Using these therapies, I can help your body regain balance as well as improve movement and quality of life. Treatments do not replace medical advice and treatment, however they can be used in conjunction with and complementary to medical and other healing modalities as it activates the body’s own powerful, natural healing processes.

My approach to treating you

Every client is different, so every treatment is different as well. My approach is tailored to you and your needs and utilizes different techniques including: Bowen therapy, FLOWpresso, energy work, emotion coding, red light and essential oils.

Meet

Whether we first meet via phone, email or in person, I like to have a chat to get an idea about you and what is going on for you first before jumping on the table for your session

Assess

I start by assessing your concerns and looking at what you've been feeling, what's working, what's not, and if there have been any injuries or incidents - long or short term. What stress do you have in your life, are you sleeping well and so on.

Treat

Its time for you to jump on the table - all you need to do is relax and enjoy.

Follow Up

A Bowen treatment can take up to 7 days to fully work through your body, so changes continue to happen over this time. Its generally a good idea to have a follow up session a week later, to reassess and see how your body has responded.

With chronic pain 3-5 sessions is a good starting point - it took time for your body to get to this level of pain, so it can take some time to unwind it. If the problem is recent or acute, it may only take 2-3 sessions.

Through research we know FLOWpresso, can improve stress, sleep and mood with three sessions over three weeks. Sessions can be a minimum of 3 days apart with a maximum of 2 per week.

What do you need to know?

A minimum of 3 sessions is a good starting point. 

The number of sessions is dependent on the level of restriction and pain, plus how long you have been having a problem. 

Chronic pain (longer than 3 months) can take longer to unwind, whereas acute pain (short term pain) can often be unwound quicker.

I trained in Australia with Smart Bowen, initially starting with horses in 2015. I went on to study people in 2016 after realising if I can help the person, I’m also going to help the animal. I relocated back to NZ in 2017 and completed the trifecta with dogs in 2019. I have worked in Sydney, Tauranga and now Queenstown when I relocated home, early 2021.

Yes, I have a great clinic room, where you can come in for a session and dogs can be treated here too. 

I travel to horses and can travel to dogs as well, especially for those that aren’t that comfortable in unfamiliar spaces.
