Study Bowen Therapy

We offer two levels for the enthusiast to learn Human Bowen Therapy:

• Bowen Essentials
• Diploma of Smart Bowen Remedial Therapy

Bowen Essentials provides the start point to both programs, however people who have an interest to treat their family members for common complaints will commit to the first, 1 to 3 modules only. Those who have an invested interest in becoming a professional in the field of Bowen, will go on to complete the Practitioner Certificate, the Diploma of Smart Bowen Remedial Therapy.

Training programs are provided throughout NZ and overseas.

The Smart Bowen® Therapy Practitioner Certificate, the Diploma of Smart Bowen Therapy is recognized by the International Institute of Complementary Therapists (IICT) in NZ & Australia and in some countries overseas. The Bowen Therapy Federation of Australia Inc., (BTFA), and the Bowen Therapy Professional Association (BTPA), which covers UK/Europe.

Smart Bowen Therapy Lymphatic Drainage Stimulation Technique (SBT LDST) is a specialized treatment process that may assist the body’s lymphatic system to become more effective at moving excess fluid from the soft tissue of the body. It has been shown in clinical practice to be very effective in shifting unwanted post surgery oedema for many people. The SBT LDST is usually applied as a whole body treatment for the most effective result for the client. This one day training seminar is available to any qualified Bowen practitioners.

Smart Bowen Therapy International College offers a variety of post graduate training seminars. These include the Smart Bowen Therapy Lymphatic Drainage Stimulation Technique one day training, a seminar of upper back and neck moves, one of looking at resolving lower back problems and some workshops catering to the specific to the needs of the group of practitioners attending.
